Bunnahabhain 1965 16 Year Old, Cadenhead’s 1982 Dumpy Bottling with Box

Bunnahabhain 1965 16 Year Old. This extremely rare 16 year old Islay single malt is laid to rest at the Bunnahabhain distillery way back in December 1965 and bottle by Wm Cadenhead in September 1982.

Further, Fills at 46% ABV, this outstanding rarity from the Islay stalwarts comes in the familiar old-style dumpy bottle.

Supplies with original carton packaging, that is sporting a little bruising, yet the bottle and labels are in very good condition. Whilst the fill level is well into the neck – see image for fine detail.

However. A bottle of Bunnahabhain 16 Year Old Pure Malt Scotch Whisky. This is distille in December 1965 and bottle at 46% ABV by Cadenhead’s in September 1982.

Bunnahabhain, meaning “mouth of the river” in Gaelic, is an Islay distillery that is establish in 1881. After having a number of struggles throughout the 20th Century. The new millennium seems to have brought a new lease of life to this small distillery. Characteristics: Sweet, nutty, salty and herbal.
